Inktober 2023
In 2023, I participated in Inktober, using the prompts to create various illustrations.
Rock & Co Event
I set up and managed an event stall for Rock & Co at a Fantasy Feyre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The event was a massive success, bringing in far more money than originally estimated while increasing brand awareness for a brand new shoe brand.
Counselling Training
I took two courses with JPCCC when I was considering pursuing a career in psychology.
The training included both a personal counselling course and a course dedicated to working with children. It taught me a lot about reflection, holding space and the power of human connection.
Aerial Yoga tv Interview
A segment done for SABC news in South Africa on aerial yoga and the benefits of it. It aired on national television and was uploaded on the official YouTube channel.
Art Therapy
I took three courses in Art Therapy from Art Therapy South Africa when I was considering studying to become a psychologist. During the course, I learned to not only deepen my self knowledge but to explore art as a modality of expression for human thoughts and emotions.
Aerial Arts
I spend a lot of time upside down, flying through the air and hanging from my hands. While I work as an aerial yoga teacher, I also have my own practice in both aerial hammock and aerial silks. Rock & Co Photography
As well as working as an SEO specialist, I also modelled for various photoshoots during my time working at Dangee Carken.
Fairy Make-Up Tutorial
I had the opportunity to sit for make-up for a local collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and A Romance Court in Barcelona. The idea was to create an everyday fairy look that brings a little magic and whimsy into everyday life.
Book of Creatives
A book made based on the artwork of creatives who inspire me. Each work is redrawn and reimagined through my eyes, then the images were sewn over with red thread. The book is hand sewn and covered in a canvas material.
Dried Up
An artwork I made when I was 16, it was an exploration of mortality and decay, looking at what remains while also looking into the concept of the soul.
Medium: Burnt paper, tracing paper butterflies, ink, bleach and wood-glue, some flame drawing and dried flowers.
Human Nature Font
I was tasked with creating a font using Fontographer. Human Nature is a font inspired by the relationship between human beings — a serif font combining anatomy and flowers.
Human Nature Drawings
A collection of anatomical drawings combined with plants, inspired by the human experience, growth and our connection with nature.
Ink Heart
Final Portfolio for the Creative Development course in my Bachelor of Arts, titled "A Modern Nomad's Journey". The portfolio collected my various projects over three years. The layout and drawings were based around one of my favourite book series, "Inkheart" by Cordelia Funke.
Tactile Typography
A typographic project featuring crushed "zoo biscuits" with the concept "Don't let our wildlife crumble."
Beneath the Surface
My final university portfolio for my Bachelor of Arts. The concept was "Beneath the Surface", focusing on encouraging the reader to look deeper than what can be seen. Paying attention to more than just the visual but also the visceral and the emotional.
Bubble Planet Sponsored Review
During my time working for Miss Tourist, I was offered the opportunity by Fever to visit and write about Bubble Planet when it was in Barcelona.
I created a reel covering the experience for my personal memories and created a write up for the website.
Custom Tarot Deck
For a university course project, I created my own custom tarot deck. This is just the Major Arcana, but the rest of the deck (4 suits) can be found on my Behance.
Dungeons & Dragons Journal
I created a journal for my Dungeons & Dragons campaign (it is my first one so I have been using the process as a way to understand the game and all of the intricacies).
It's still a work in progress but I am having a lot of fun putting it together.
2026 Vision Board
Each year, I put together a vision board complete with text and images. I visualise all the different areas of my life, represent them visually and then bring the board to life. It is A1 in size and I hang it on my wall for the duration of the year, taking it down on New Years Eve. I reflect on what I envisioned and on New Years Day I start planning the one for the following year. I create the board over weeks, sometimes months.
For 2026, my core theme was planting, reaching my roots down again, building a foundation for the future and building the strength needed to face what lies ahead.
2025 Vision Board
Each year, I put together a vision board complete with text and images. I visualise all the different areas of my life, represent them visually and then bring the board to life. It is A1 in size and I hang it on my wall for the duration of the year, taking it down on New Years Eve. I reflect on what I envisioned and on New Years Day I start planning the one for the following year. I create the board over weeks, sometimes months.
For 2025, my core theme was uprooting, shedding my comfort zone, reframing the meaning of home and building a home within.

I reflect on what I envisioned and on New Years Day I start planning the one for the following year. I create the board over weeks, sometimes months.
For 2024, the core theme was expansion, adventure, flight and pursuing my dreams. The image featured above is when the project wasn't 100% finished, I unfortunately didn't take a picture of the completed artwork.
